Mox Movement creates a supportive and non-judgemental environment for movement and flow that focuses on smaller class sizes and a handful of amazing instructors. Class instructors are incredibly skilled and can make class work for you and will meet you where you are in your practice.


  • Founder

    As a forever student of movement Sylvie combines her love and study of all types of movement with a natural ability to be inclusive, compassionate, and honest. Sylvie strives to empower her students while encouraging them to try new things, be willing to fail (failure is essential for learning!), smile and then try again.

    Expect Sylvie’s classes to be playful, fluid, and empowering with influences from yoga, mobility, dance, martial arts and calisthenics.

  • Becca is an experienced yoga teacher and a long-standing facilitator of Eat Breathe Thrive, a nonprofit organization that aims to prevent and help people recover from eating disorders. As a former collegiate athlete, Becca has always enjoyed moving her body for wellness and mental health.

  • Brenan Smith (she/her) is a 200 hr. RYT yoga teacher specializing in creative sequencing,functional skills, and restorative yoga practices. A lover of creativity and physical expression, Brenan lives all things movement, from circus arts,

    Expect Brenan’s classes to be playful, creative, and intentional wit influences from yoga, circus arts, and acrobatics.

  • Jeanne discovered (was forced to practice 😜) yoga in 2012 when she began working at lululemon’s SSC (headquarters) in Vancouver. After getting over her fear of not being “flexible enough" she quickly realized there was a lot more to yoga then she initially thought.

    What to expect in Jeanne’s classes:

    Expect Jeanne's classes to be warm and compassionate with moments of pause to encourage you to take notice of the patterns of your mind without judgement.

  • Intentional movement and breath work have become an aligned way of living for Sydney. Sydney found that the benefits of mindful movement to her nervous system and her mental health were vital for living a more holistic/conscientious lifestyle. Her passion for healing has led her to not only teach yoga but also to become a Reiki Master.

    Expect Sydney's classes to support you to find balance between discipline and fluidity and provide ways to lean into and explore somatic breathwork and tribal movement while connecting with your body and soul.

  • Molly works to empower students to meet themselves where they are while finding ways they can deepen into their practice - while finding joy along the way. Molly’s teaching focuses on developing a strong connection between the body and mind.

    Expect Molly's classes to have a strong dynamic sequence that builds heat and explores your personal power while finding a balance of effort and ease through movement, breath, and intention.
